Educational Content

The Knowledge Box configured for orphanages includes Khan Academy, Wikipedia for Schools, hundreds of children's books, novels and research materials.   A complete list of content can be found on the main page 'Sample Content' link.   Each Knowledge Box is configured in either Spanish or English depending on the region it is shipped.   Depending on the region, the content and language options can be customized free of charge before shipping.

60 Gigabytes of Content

The Knowledge Box model 1 contains over 60 gigabytes of content.   The Knowledge Box Plus includes an external 1 terabyte hard drive that includes 20 times the content as the model 1.

Amazon Fire Tblets

Care packages are shipped with 3 Amazon Fire 7 tablets configured to work with the Knowledge Box.   - But take note, for orphanages with existing computers or those using their cell phones to surf the web, they can access the Knowledge Box as-is since each Knowledge Box includes a WIFI hotspot.

Knowledge Box Care Packages

We package two Knowledge Boxes with Amazon Fire tablets to create a complete solution in a package that can be mailed anywhere in the world.   And then we help staff unpack and setup the Knowledge Boxes in a couple of hours.  From there we will give email and phone support if they have any issues.

We host kids ages 6 through young adult in a very remote location near Guadalajara and just built a library.  The Knowledge Box was a great edition and was setup in just a couple hours to work with our existing PCs.   We can't wait for the updates -- Isaiah

 

 

We are mostly interested in biblical and theological content, so when we heard of a small computer that contained this content, we were excited to try it out.   Good Theological Seminary is located in Ghana -- Thomas
